HOW TO PREPARE FOR LASER BLEPHAROPLASTY SURGERY?
When preparing for laser blepharoplasty surgery, you will need to do the same things you are expected to do with conventional surgical procedures. Some of the things you will still need to steer clear of when you are scheduled for an operation are smoking, drinking alcohol, and taking medications like aspirin and anti-inflammatory medicines. On the day of your operation, make sure that you do shower properly and shampoo and wash your hair as well as your eyebrows. Wear comfortable clothing that you can easily move in, and avoid wearing unnecessary accessories and jewelry on this day. Contact lenses, makeup, and other unnecessary items should also be left at home.
Get someone to drive you to and from the clinic or hospital where the procedure is to be performed. You will feel groggy from the anesthesia and the sedative you are given for the procedure so you will need someone to take you home after. This procedure may take around three hours to finish so make sure to inform your designated driver of this.
