FTER LASER BLEPHAROPLASTY SURGERY: AFTERCARE TIPS FOR EYELID SURGERY
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO AFTER LASER BLEPHAROPLASTY SURGERY?
After your operation, you will need to take a few days off to a week from work to rest and recuperate. Try to get someone to help you with the things you need to do during these days since you will be having bandages loosely taped over your eyes for the first three days of recuperation.
- Do not engage in any activities that are too strenuous for your weakened condition. This means that exercising, working, and lifting of heavy items are prohibited. You will need to refrain from doing these things for at least a week.
- You may also ask your doctor when you can return to these activities when you have your bandages removed at his clinic three days after your laser blepharoplasty procedure.
- You will still need to abstain from drinking alcohol and from smoking during your recuperation period and until your wounds and scars are healed. Since laser blepharoplasty surgery usually takes a lot less time to heal, you can expect to be back to your normal routine faster as well.
